Little Creatures Living in the Leaf Litter around Province Lake

As you walk through the woods around Province Lake, there is a vast world of tiny creatures living beneath your feet. These creatures are important members of the woodland community that most of us may never see. Seeing them and taking their pictures is one hobby of mine. This page is where I will share some of my best shots. Click them to get the full size photo. I will give you the closest identification that I can. My primary source is "Life in the Soil" by James Nardi (2007, U. of Chicago Press).
