There are a variety of very different types of reports available. Here are a few:

Tempest Weather System

Someone has generously installed a Tempest Weather System near the southwestern edge of the lake. The Tempest by WeatherFlow is an automated personal electronic weather station that is linked to a national network accessible to all.

You can see all the current weather data from this local station HERE.

Citizen Science

CoCoRaHS is a national network of volunteers who make manual daily precipitation measurements and enter them into a national database, where it gets posted almost immediately on a map available to all. The closest station to Province Lake that posts data consistently is a private resident (I assume) on Pine River Pond Road (Station NH-CR-34: Wakefield 6.0 NNW). Just click on the map and zoom into Province Lake or anywhere else of interest in the U.S. or Canada. Data points are color coded by precipitation amount, so you can quickly zoom in to find out where the action is. You can also instantly change the date for which the data are displayed. Clicking on an individual station icon on the map will occasionally provide you additional observation information in the Notes section. Below is an example from July 17, 2023 (click it to enlarge):

Since the National Weather Service has a limited number of precipitation gauge stations, they rely heavily on CoCoRaHS to provide them widespread data. Anyone can join this network and I encourage you to do so, even if you can only submit data for limited periods of time. I personally submit fewer than 50 reports per year from my station on Province Lake, but sparse data are better than no data. More stations will fill in the gaps in time and space.
